Free Open House event, 9:30- noon, ages 12 and up
Volunteers will be on hand to walk you through the different stations. The whole process will take about 45 minutes, depending on how many people arrive at a given time.
Intro: Sign in, fill out a waiver and learn about rowing
Tour: Get a tour of the boathouse and boatyard.
Learn: Learn about different boats and rowing terminology.
Practice: Practice the rowing stroke on a stationary rowing machine.
Row: Get in a boat and row on the river.
